# How to contribute to Ecchi's Save Archive (ESA) [toc] ## Preparations In order to contribute saves, you need the following: * Access to a PC * [`dbi`](https://github.com/rashevskyv/dbi) ## Dumping the save First, connect your Switch with a USB-C-Cable. It needs to support data transfers, or the Switch won't show up on your PC. Once connected, launch the Album applet, find and run `dbi` and select the option `Run MTP responder`. You will now see a new device on your computer as shown in the following screenshot:  Double click on this device and open the drive `Saves`. In there, find the game you want to contribute your save for and open the respective folder. You'll see a folder for each profile that has a save for this game. Copy the desired folder to your desktop. Open the copied folder, select all files inside it, right click those files and select `Compress to ZIP file`. On earlier Windows versions, the option can be found as `Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder`. ## Labeling Now that you've dumped your savegame, it's time to label it accordingly. The name of the savegame consists of the following components: `NAME [Type] [Author] [Title ID]`. For example, a savegame for `Yu-Gi-Oh! RUSH DUEL` that unlocks all cards would look like this: `Yu-Gi-Oh! RUSH DUEL Dawn of the Battle Royale!! [All Cards] [Ecchi] [0100261015BE2000]` Try to keep the type short and precise. ## Uploading To contribute a save, simply submit it [using this form](https://forms.gle/uSq38jYRxqe5puig8). Alternatively, you can also message `archbox` on Discord. Send the save and provide a small explaination to it. That's it. Your save will get reviewed and added to the archive.
